Forza Motorsport 3 Racing League

Hi guys,

little late on the news should have posted about a week ago

the Forza 3 demo hits marketplace this Thursday the 24th of September.
And will include 5 cars and 1 full track for you to try you racing hands at.
The demo will also include leader-boards to check the worlds best lap times and see how you stack up against the hop lappers.

The white flag waves as “Forza Motorsport 3” has Gone Gold, entering its final lap before launching on Oct. 22 in Asia, Oct. 23 in Europe and Oct. 27 in North America exclusively on Xbox 360. To mark the occasion, Microsoft and Turn 10 today confirmed that a demo of the highly anticipated title will arrive on Xbox LIVE Marketplace starting Sept. 24.

From what i gather from spending some time on the Turn 10 forums and looking through the Forza 3 forums scanning for information.

The PI (Power Index System) has been changed.

The PI is now worked out on a power,Speed,Handling and breaking ratio.
Every time the car is upgraded the game "test drives" it round a track,
This happens in a split second and tests the top end speed,Acceleration,Breaking and handling.
The power index will be worked out from these results.

This is to stop the "rocket cars" in Forza2 which were a low PI when bought,
But with upgrading and tuning could become devilishly fast whilst keeping within a A-S rating.

October 30th is the European release date for Forza motorsport 3.

After 1 weeks of release.
I hope to start the first FMRL Season after updating the rules and regulations to match Forza motorsport new settings and gameplay mechanics.

We will be running a 1 week gap between release and league commencing,To allow players to build some Credits in Forza 3 to be able to buy the needed Cars and upgrades for the first championship.

Also this time will be used to check on tire compound to see if the advantage gains on tire grip from super soft tires will out weigh the disadvantageous life span and other concerns that may be used to gain unfair advantages over other drivers in the league.
